Obstoon Speech
Sprechtraining Deutsch — practise real conversations for everyday B1, business-and-exam B2 and the ÖSD B2 oral exam, with a live AI conversation partner.
What it is
A speaking trainer, not a test simulator.
Obstoon Speech is a self-contained realtime speech application. You speak German in the browser; the session partner answers, keeps the exchange moving and hands back practice feedback when the session ends.
Both sides of the dialogue are transcribed live, so a learner can read back what was actually said instead of guessing from memory. The application interface is in German; the training language is German.
There are no accounts and no tracking. The only third-party service involved is the Gemini Live API, which carries the live audio session.

An information-exchange dialogue. Topics include work and profession, sport, media, reading and foreign-language learning.

Describe and interpret a picture from a prepared image set, sustained as a single monologue.

Take a position on a topic and hold it against the opposite position. Available as an exam flow or from the topic library.

Aufgabe 3 topics include a structured summary: overview, arguments for and against, key questions and search terms.

How a practice run is shaped.

Preflight
The application checks the session before it starts: the world, the task and the topic are chosen first.

The partner opens
In the ÖSD tasks the partner initiates the interaction itself rather than waiting to be addressed.

The exchange
Speaking turns, replies, follow-up questions and interruptions are handled as they happen, with the transcript alongside.

The session closes
The partner ends the session when the goal is reached or the time limit is hit, and the objective indicators stop with it.
